It is situated on a block of travertine that damming the river forces it to split into two branches and to form the famous waterfalls , both 27 meters tall and having the distinction of being the only ones in the world to fall in a small town.
The first mention of the castle dates back to 1004. Followed one another over the centuries several families until in 1924 it was bought back by the family who still has contributed to the revival of the Castle. Today they are available the saloons , the park and the Chapel .
